Okay, so. You might have noticed that I haven't been online much for the past few weeks, and when I have, I've sounded (well, read as being, maybe; you can't exactly tell how a person sounds over the Internet unless you're using a microphone) tense and rushed. That's because my computer was freezing every time I tried to use it for more than ten minutes. I never knew when it was going to happen; it was usually after I finished writing a line I was proud of in a text document. Figures, huh?
Well, I took it in to the campus IT people to get it looked at. After a series of events that took two days, they found out that my hard drive was having problems. Big problems. Ouch. Fortunately, they caught it just in time; the warranty on Munnin (my computer) had two days left on it. I called Munnin's manufacturers, and they were able to send me a new hard drive. (I made chocolate chip cookies for the IT people in thanks; they saved me over $800 by catching it when they did! That's a lot of money I really don't have. /is a poor college student)
So, I've spent the last three days reinstalling everything and transferring files. It's been a long, aggravating process, but I think I've got almost everything back now. Which means I'll finally be able to spend time online again! Huzzah!
... Well, once I get all my paperwork in order for my major change. I'm currently a Biochemistry major, but I'm switching to Biology. It's more in line with the careers I'm interested in. Plus, it'll mean that I'll have more room to take more microbiology classes! (What can I say? I love studying microorganisms. Why yes, I am a geek, thanks for noticing.

Imagination Is more Important Than Knowledge ..
Well... I'm still suffering from losing my MJ. Not a day has gone by without my listening to his music.
I don't know if I ever confided about this particular subject of fangirlism, but I have been chasing Michael Jackson since I was about 4 or 5. Clay made that die down just a little bit, but it started back up last year in full force.
Now...
I am never getting over this man. NEVER.
But, I'd hate to ramble on about that for forever and a day.
Poor Clay...
I just bought three of his albums and a DVD at the mall... and two Tshirts... and a book off of Ebay... and I'm celebrating Halloween by going to see THIS IS IT in theaters and also to a MJ tribute band...
I can't help it. He lights up my life. And I'm still crying over this fool.
Anyways... How could I not mention? I changed my major. No more OT for me, that shit got HARD. Way too hard.
I'm in social work now, and I'm loving it so much more.
And I've got a new best friend in the whole wide world. Her name's Kathy, she's from Ohio. We talk on the phone constantly. Check her out: she's KITTYKATIE72 on here.
And I've got a boyfriend.
And... what else?
I need to get off of here. My back is revolting.
But it was so awesome to talk to you again. Even if it didn't seem to veer far from said King of Pop.
Hope you're just as well. GOOD NIGHT!
